My time in Sweden was well spent. The book is desired by
retailers, tourists, natives, and distributors. Here's some photos
about the times I had and the people and the culture. I've added
photos that are germane to the book and others to give you all
a snapshot of Sweden and its international flavour.

Tomas the Train Conductor was the first Swede I met, the conductor on the express train
from the airport to downtown Stockholm. When he saw the book, his eyes bulged out.
He said his boy would love it and so I signed a copy for him right there.
Then made him pose! He took his hat off. Tomas was indicative of most of the Swedes
I met: he instantly recognized the value of the book.

The hostel I spent most of my night at, right in downtown Stockholm.

It snowed the first day I arrived. Here, some kids have a go at their mom with snowballs.

Hostel's sign.

Lunch time in the dinning area.

First night (actually, it's 2 pm)

Cafe window in the hostel.

Main street in Stockholm, Drottnings-gatan ("Queen's Street") the major shopping district.
Think Michigan Ave. in Chicago or Fifth Ave in New York.
This road is the home to all the shops your see on this page.
It bridges to the island with the Royal Palace (see more below).

Open-door stores in the middle of winter.

Crossing the bridge to the island in the heart of Stockholm, Gamla Stan, home of the
Royal Palace and 1 billion gift shops.

Royal Palace behind me. George Miller's Prudential salesman's overcoat upon me.

Now begins the touristy section. I took photos of at least a hundred shops
that displayed the Dalarna Horse; here is a few.

Cute streets!

Kids can buy these medieval knight's gear in the shops. This market is PRIME for Prince Erik!

Some more medieval merchandise.

Main square in Gamla Stan. The Palace is a little ways behind these buildings.

A wonderful Christmas market on the square.

Lovely "brindling" effect on the facades of many of the historic buildings.

Ah, the mosaic on the wall in the TV room at the hostel. Koral, look familiar? Page 20!
(Did we hit that right on the nose or what?!?)

Neat ceiling in hostel in Gamla Stan.

St. George Slaying the Dragon, Stockholm's patron saint.

The Face Bridge! As I approached this bridge, I beheld a vision...

It's ... it's ... !

No, it can't be...!

Yes! Yes it is! It's the face of Jesus-Morrison-Nosferatu! Plain as day! (Che?)

Veiw from another hostel window I was in for 3 days in Gamla Stan.

Oh, I got to hang out with Josh Hartnett for a few days.

And with some Italians (like I had to say they were Italians.)

A bit of cool masonry celebrating the Three Crowns of Sweden's rule over
Norway, Denmark and Finland hundreds of years ago. But to me it's like some talking face
from The Labyrinth, right? "Helluuu! I am the building.Who are you?"

The Royal Palace a few days later.
